I can’t believe it’s over, guys.

Thanks for sticking with me! It got a little rocky at the end, but overall, I think it was a successful project. I can’t express how happy I am that I have the best year of my life documented.

Here’s to hoping this is the first of many amazing fucking years.

I’ll be done with this blog from here on out, but I have a personal blog and a writing/art blog, so if you’re interested in either of those, shoot me a private message and I’ll send you the links.

You’re so fantastic. <3

Day 365 || December 31, 2011

IT’S OVER!

(More people came to my party, but I was too drunk to take pictures at that point.)

Day 364 || December 30, 2011

This is me and my cat. She’s cool shit.

Jake and I went to the mall where he bought many shoes and I bought a sexy lady poster. Twelve-year-olds at Panera judged us for being awesome. We judged them for talking about Driver’s Ed. It was an interesting dynamic.

Then we met up with Evie and the three of us watched Blue Valentine and then drank some hot beverages to soothe the ache it put in our souls. Then we watched a recording of a directing scene Evie was in at school. It was adorable.

After everyone left, I took a little drive and spent the night reflecting on the year. At 2:30 am, the man on the radio reminded me that it was the last day of 2011. And for a brief moment, I honestly didn’t believe him.

Day 363 || December 29, 2011

I went to Barnes & Noble with Evie, Jake, and Megan. I bought The Wild Things by Dave Eggers and we had a nice little dinner at Starbucks. Then we went to Noah and watched Bridesmaids and played with his dog. This is Evie and Jake pretending to be American Eagle models. Sexy.

Day 362 || December 28, 2011

I had a lazy day that sort of ended up bumming me out. But before bed, I had some tea and finished my book and that sort of made things feel better. My cat even joined me.

Day 361 || December 27, 2011

"This young buck is taking his time."

Evie, Jake, and I had plans to see Hugo in Hadley that afternoon. Halfway there, we realized there was no way we could make it in time, so we had a spontaneous Northampton adventure. We went to a bookstore and found this in a Human Sexuality book. It was lovely.

We ended up seeing Hugo at 10:00 that night and it was INCREDIBLE. One of the best things I’ve seen in theaters in a long time. Even though I don’t normally like 3D, it worked really well for it.

Day 360 || December 26, 2011

I went to Target with my mom and made a fool out of myself in honor of missing Target adventures with Liz.

That night Evie came over and we had an adventure. We tried to get lost but it was physically impossible because Athol’s too goddamn small and I kept driving down dead ends. Back at my house, we ate fancy brie snacks and drank wine and talked about the course of our lives.

Day 359 || December 25, 2011

MERRY CHRISTMAS! It was a good haul this year.

This is my new baby. Isn’t she beautiful?!

Day 358 || December 24, 2011

CHRISTMAS EVE! My favorite Christmas tradition is new pajamas on Christmas Eve. My mom and I ran errands to prepare for Christmas and then we came home and watched Elf and Miracle on 34th Street.

I’ve decided to queue up the last eight posts all for today so that this project ends with the year.

I may have one final post, a bit of a farewell statement within the next few days and I may reblog some of my favorite pictures/days from the year. But all the new picture posts will be done by midnight.

Thanks for following along with my crazy wonderful life. <3
